Wow.  This book was amazing.  First, we meet Ryan who is struck by an unfortunate event but is lead into jet setting away to recoup from it all.  She meets Will, on a whim, and we find out that millionaires, being spoiled, and being sexed can happen for the melanated queens too.

Ryan and Will’s story is what happens when you don’t settle, you demand and accept more.  When you allow more to happen.

It’s a quick read, but well worth it.  If only to realize what could be if you just...

Jemma is a jet setter with no intentions of settling down.  Her travels include exotic food, guided tours, and occasionally a tryst with a man she will never see again.  In her eyes, it’s a perfect lifestyle.

But then she tangles herself with Levi who gives her an ethereal experience, one that seems life-altering.  They go there separate ways only to meet again, in her hometown — and she can’t shake him.

Levi, like Jemma, prefers the solo lifestyle, but is quickly convinced that...

Who knew musicians were so passionate?  The entire Prototype crew definitely love hard, and fast.  But Bam, his laid back, sometimes immature like demeanor didn’t catch me as being one to be serious with anyone.  There was something about Cassie though that had him changing his ways.

I liked Bam and Cassie together, at times I hurt for either of them for different reasons, but together they were able to overcome their individual obstacles.

All four books in the Prototype series w...

Losing yourself in a relationship is one of the toughest things to overcome.

In Keeping Willow, we already know how Devin and Willow met (If you’ve read Happiness in Jersey).  Willow was a bright-eyed, wide open girl with and a tad naive when she first met Devin.

Devin wasn’t trying to settle down, unless it was with his drum set and the band, he wasn’t interested.  He knew his attraction to Willow was strong but he heeded the warning from his best friend, Jersey, not to mess with that one...

Kennedy had a very traumatic event happen to her that led her to Texas from Denver.  She carried the weight of that tragedy with her, fearfully running from anything similar to what she’d had in the past.

Until she met Travis, and her entire outlook on life changed, unexpectedly.

Quickly her and Travis were connected by a soul-stirring force.

Finding Kennedy is a sweet romance, intertwined with some drama, and of course mention of great musicians giving you the need to go listen to a live...

Jersey and Zay are a dynamic couple.  Although they are exactly what the other needs getting to that point is tough, because Jersey has a lot of shit she has to deal with... a LOT.

Relationships aren’t her thing, but finding her release through sex is enough to fill her sexual appetite and release the emotions she allows to build up inside of her.  Until she meets Zay.

Zay and Jersey have similar stories, they’ve both suffered tremendous loss.  But Zay is at a point in life where he ca...

Joia and Teddy are a cute couple.  Both social media influencers, I could follow either in real life — Teddy for a good laugh and Joia to get my health and wellness together.

The oppsie baby was a nice twist, and kept me turning the pages to find out who the baby daddy was.  It definitely wasn’t who I expected but I was pleasantly surprised anyway.

Their love story is very contemporary.  One I could see happening to a friend or two.  Mrs. Jones delivers another realistic, funny, page-...

I would totally watch I Think I Might Like You on the big screen! Jaclyn and Karan’s story is a cute romantic comedy.

They start of with a barrage of issues, a little physical violence and drama, and end up a loving and caring couple.

Kadan has his own battles with his family, trying to prove he’s going to be who he’s going to be despite what his family wants.

Jaclyn, well, she has a few issues of her own but she’s trying to right her ship.

Despite their personal issues they support each other...

Langston and Nyema finally gave into their attraction for each other, even though they were definitely opposites.  Nyema thought Langston was a cornball — different than the artsy guys she usually went for in the past.

Langston was attracted to Nyema, but didn’t want to approach her till he knew she’d be open to him.  And although he took his time with his approach, when he finally made it happen he was all in.

He proved to Nyema that the good guy can be exactly what you need, and even what...

Quincy and Juniper are a cute couple.  But this book was interesting because of Juniper’s business.  I could definitely see me and my friends attending a session of MYOP.

Imagine capturing a guy in a selfie and letting the internets connect you, in real life.  I was happy to for the two of them to connect and actually have chemistry.

Although it’s a quick read, I can imagine these two beyond this story.
