Two Weeks Notice by Whitney G.
Two Weeks Notice is an awesome book about perseverance. Tara, who maybe does owe a lot to her controlling boss, doesn’t throw in the towel when things become stressful at her new job. She does her job, to the best of her ability, day in and day out. But through her hard work, she sacrifices her personal life. Losing her boyfriend and missing out on many milestones of her friends.
I don’t think I’d ever be able to put up with a boss like Preston. He’s successful, but like Tara, he’s sacrificed his personal life to be the best at what he does in the hotel business. Like her, he becomes lost in his work missing out on the only family he has.
They both have an undeniable drive, and are determined to keep their distance although they are obviously sexually attracted to each other.
This story had me hooked, I loved the dynamics between Tara and Preston and it didn’t take long before I was also cursing out Preston for his crazy demands of Tara, but at the same time I wanted them to be together.
I lost a couple of hours of sleep with this book, Whitney G. did an awesome job!
