I'll take your 50 Shades and raise you an Ante Up!
In Ante Up, Mrs. Jones delivers a dramatic romance. One that is set in sin city, and is filled with it's fair share of sins. The sinful duo in this story --- Red & King, from different backgrounds but who are drawn together by happen stance.
Red works as a server in a Vegas casino, but has dreams of soon becoming a poker champion. She is saving her money to have the fifty-thousand dollar buy-in to a poker competition. Her skills at the poker table are the one thing that she rightfully gained from her abusive father. Everything else about him, she'd like to forget. Her life is riddled with issues causing her to sacrifice the money she's gained for the tournament.
King has the money and power that any woman in Vegas, or around the world, would do anything for. But his past love has left him scarred and he isn't interested in just any woman in Vegas, he's drawn to Red. He recognizes her issues, and despite them, he is still attracted to her.
They each know their indiscretions should keep them away from each other but they can't ignore their connection.
Like many of Mrs. Jones' stories, the characters are relatable and full of personality. She touts the line of B&D, but only with a toe in the water. Maybe she'll explore this more in a future story.
